Important: An initial test area to be tried at all times to ensure compatibility of Rust Solution with the rust surface being treated including the top paints used for over coating.
Stir well before use. DO NOT DILUTE.
Application

Remove loose scale, flaky rust, all paint and dirt with thorough wire brushing etc. Reduce any high peaks of rust. Paintwork blistered by rust should be scraped down to hard surface. Do not remove all traces of rust. Remove Acid, Alkali, grease oil and chemicals with detergent water wash then rinse with clean water. Failure to degrease effectively will cause flaws in the barrier.

Pour into non-metallic container. To avoid contamination, do not return unused product to the original bottle.

Apply 2 or 3 thin coats directly onto rust by brush or roller.

During application, it starts off white. Gently cross brush for a further 30 seconds and then allow to dry for the chemical reaction and conversion of the rust surface to take place. Surplus MetalReborn may cause staining of surrounding paintwork if allowed to dry. Remove surplus immediately.

It is an excellent base for paint. Leave 24-48 hours or longer to dry hard before applying. It is preferable, but not essential to use a good quality primer before applying topcoats.
Temperature range, use and storage
Should not be applied below 5°C or above 40°C. However, it will withstand temperatures between -40°C and 60°C when dried hard. Use within 12 months of purchase. Reseal cap after use. Use in well-ventilated area. Store between 5°C and 35°C, do not store in direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
Attention
Must not be swallowed. If swallowed, wash out mouth with water and give water to drink. Harmful by inhalation treat symptomatically. Eyes: splashes to the eye should be removed by washing with eyewash solution or water for at least 10 minutes. Skin: splashes should be washed off with water and soap as soon as possible. If in any doubt as to effectiveness of any treatment, obtain medical attention immediately.
Keep away from children. Slight irritant classified non hazardous. Mineral acid and lead free.
Each coat dry in 15 to 45 mins between coats. Protect from rain during drying.
Use detergent wash and rinse with water.
Approximate 10-12 square metre per litre.
